Workout logging
FitFo logs sets, reps, and weight in the gym, starts a rest timer sized to the lift you just finished, and suggests your next set from your last one. Logging is free with no set cap. FitFo holds a 4.6-star average across 237 App Store and Google Play ratings.

FitFo's logger is a set-by-set gym tracker. You open a workout, log weight and reps per set, and FitFo writes each set to your history with a timestamp. It ships a 246-exercise catalog tagged by equipment, movement pattern, and primary muscle group, plus custom exercises you define yourself.
Every catalog entry carries structured metadata rather than a bare name. That is what lets FitFo group a workout by muscle worked, suggest a substitute when a machine is taken, and pick a sensible rest window without you configuring anything. Exercises you create yourself accept the same fields, including your own rest length, notes, and form cues.
FitFo starts a rest timer automatically when you finish a set, and sizes it to the lift. Compound lifts default to 180 seconds, isolation work to 90 seconds, and cardio intervals to 60 seconds. You can override any timer per exercise, and the override sticks for future sessions.
The classification is derived from the exercise itself, so a barbell squat gets a full 180-second window while a cable curl gets 90. Most loggers make you set this per routine or skip rest tracking altogether; FitFo picks a defensible default first and lets you correct it.
| Compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench, row, press) | 180 seconds |
|---|---|
| Isolation work (curls, flyes, extensions, raises) | 90 seconds |
| Cardio and conditioning intervals | 60 seconds |
| Per-exercise override | Supported, persists across sessions |
FitFo reads your last logged set for a lift and proposes the next one, targeting a rep range chosen by training goal: 4–6 reps for strength, 6–8 for compounds, 8–12 for hypertrophy, and 10–15 for isolation. It also flags personal records and tracks estimated one-rep max per lift.
The suggestion is a starting point printed into the set row, not a locked prescription — you can type over it, and what you actually log is what gets saved. Over time each lift accumulates a progress chart, so you can see whether a movement is trending up in load, in reps, or in total volume.
| Strength | 4–6 reps |
|---|---|
| Compound hypertrophy | 6–8 reps |
| Hypertrophy | 8–12 reps |
| Isolation | 10–15 reps |
Yes. FitFo includes a calendar you can drop workouts onto by day — push Monday, pull Wednesday, legs Friday. It sends a reminder the day before and the day of. Completed sessions can be rescheduled in place, and your scheduled week syncs to your device calendar if you enable it.
FitFo adds an import path other loggers do not have. Share a public TikTok or Instagram Reel workout to FitFo from the native share sheet and it returns a structured, editable workout — exercises, sets, reps, and rest — in about 30 seconds. You then log that workout like any other.
This matters because the workout most people actually want to run is one they saw in a video, and re-typing it by hand is the step where they give up. Every imported workout opens as editable cards: rename a movement, change the sets, delete what you will not do. Nothing is locked after import.
If you would rather never touch a video, you do not have to. Building workouts by hand is a first-class path, and the logger behaves identically either way.
Logging is free. There is no cap on how many workouts or sets you record, and no ads in the logger. FitFo Pro is optional at $9.99 per month or $49.99 per year — about 58% cheaper annually — and adds video import, in-workout coach chat, and unlimited workout history.
