Question 1

How does Fitfo turn a TikTok or Instagram workout into a trackable workout?

Accepted Answer

When you find a workout video on TikTok or Instagram, hit the native share button and pick Fitfo from the share sheet. It's as easy as sending the video to a friend, except you're sending it to Fitfo. Fitfo reads the video's audio, on-screen text, and exercise cues, then builds a clean, editable workout with sets, reps, and rest periods in about 30 seconds.

Question 2

Does Fitfo work with both TikTok and Instagram Reels?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fitfo supports share-to-import from both TikTok and Instagram Reels. Anywhere you can hit the share button on a fitness video, you can send it to Fitfo. You can also create your workouts manually inside the app if you'd rather build them from scratch.

Question 3

Is Fitfo free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fitfo is free to use for workouts, logging, and your coach community. Fitfo Pro is optional and adds imports, in-workout coaching, and unlimited history for $9.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. Availability is shown in the App Store before you subscribe.

Question 4

How accurate is video import when it converts a clip into a workout?

Accepted Answer

We've reached close to 100% accuracy on cleanly-shot fitness videos. For messier inputs, like bad audio, no captions, or clips with unrelated content mixed in, the import might miss a detail or two. Every workout is fully editable after import. Tap into anything in the app, type your changes, and they save in real time.

Question 5

Can I edit the workout after Fitfo imports it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every imported workout opens as editable cards. You can change exercise names, adjust sets and reps, add rest periods, swap movements, or delete what you don't want. You can also add your own notes, cues, and reminders alongside the ones already pulled from the original video. Nothing is locked.

Question 6

Does Fitfo log my sets, reps, and weights during a workout?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fitfo includes a built-in workout logger. Tap into any session, log your weights and reps as you train, and Fitfo saves everything to your workout history. All your data is stored in the app, so you can see what you lifted, when, and how it's progressing without ever leaving Fitfo.

Question 7

What does in-workout coach help actually do?

Accepted Answer

In-workout coach help is your session co-pilot. Ask which muscles an exercise targets, why a movement is programmed a certain way, or how to swap an exercise, and it answers based on your actual session. If you have a human coach on Fitfo, message them directly instead. Your coach owns the plan.

Question 8

Can Fitfo analyze my form?

Accepted Answer

No. Fitfo doesn't do video form analysis. Imports turn workout videos into structured sessions, and in-workout help answers training questions about what you're doing. If you want form feedback, record yourself and ask a coach. We'd rather do two things well than four things poorly.

Question 9

How is Fitfo different from Hevy, Strong, Strava, or other workout logger apps?

Accepted Answer

Hevy and Strong are workout loggers where you build the workout yourself. Strava is for cardio and social. Fitfo lets you import a workout directly from a TikTok or Instagram video via the share sheet, then log it, and if you're on coaching, your human coach runs the plan with you one-on-one.

Question 10

Can I schedule workouts for the week?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fitfo includes a calendar where you can drop imported workouts onto specific days. Schedule a push day for Monday, pull for Wednesday, legs for Friday. You'll get a reminder the day before and the day of, so you never miss a workout again. Once you've completed a session, you can reschedule it directly inside the app.

Question 11

Is Fitfo available on Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FitFo is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone. Download from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fitfo.mobile or the App Store listing linked from fitfo.app.

Question 12

Does Fitfo have a rest timer between sets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it starts on its own. When you finish a set, Fitfo begins a rest timer sized to the exercise you just did: 180 seconds for compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, and presses, 90 seconds for isolation work like curls and flyes, and 60 seconds for cardio intervals. You can override any timer per exercise and the change sticks for future sessions.

Question 13

How many exercises does Fitfo have in its exercise database?

Accepted Answer

Fitfo ships a 246-exercise catalog. Every entry is tagged with its equipment, movement pattern, and primary muscle group, which is what lets Fitfo suggest substitutes when a machine is taken and pick rest windows automatically. You can also create unlimited custom exercises with your own rest lengths, notes, and form cues.

Question 14

Does Fitfo track progressive overload and personal records?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fitfo reads your last logged set for a lift and proposes the next one, targeting 4-6 reps for strength work, 6-8 for compounds, 8-12 for hypertrophy, and 10-15 for isolation. It detects personal records automatically and tracks estimated one-rep max and total volume per lift on a progress chart.

Question 15

Can I use Fitfo as a plain workout logger without importing videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Building workouts by hand is a first-class path in Fitfo, and the logger works identically whether a workout was imported or typed in. Video import is a Fitfo Pro feature. Set logging, rest timers, weekly scheduling, and progress charts are free and need no import at all.

Question 16

What kind of workouts work best with Fitfo?

Accepted Answer

Fitfo works best with strength, hypertrophy, HIIT, and core workouts. That includes push days, pull days, full-body sessions, core sessions, and HIIT workouts. Anything with clear exercises, sets, reps, or timed holds (like a 30-second plank) imports cleanly. Circuits and supersets work great too. Dance and yoga flows are harder to import, but you can always edit after import.
